I skipped about 20 minutes of this video, but everything that I’ve heard
this guy say here, this guy is freaking awesome! Great inspiration. When he
was drawing the muscular guy close to the end, it gave me a sort of
epiphany. I’ve always had a hard time looking at those really loose,
simplistic, and just kind of thrown together art styles as real quality
art, but now I see how foolish I’ve been. It’s all about the ideas going
in. I was thinking while he was drawing his pieces that none of them had
the level of realism or detail that I usually go for. I know they are just
on the spot on stage and all, but it still got a point across because his
art style is basically like that. Of course, I still prefer realism and
detail, but now I can understand and appreciate this as well.?

Thanks to Bill to be so natural and explicit. As a french drawer dreaming
of doing something real in animation. It’s fantastic to hear him talking
about 3 french films festivals on 5 main animation festivals. That’s not a
nationalist way of mind. It’s just that we’re not conscient how lucky we
are in france to have this. He gives me the faith to continue on realize my
dream. Thanks Bill. On the last question my own choice is to be
independant. Definitely. And to let the CG technics away too.
