    Put the title in? a video track above all other video tracks. That way it will overlay the video in tracks below it.

    When I click text media, it does not open up the window where u can type in and edit your font.? It simply places a frame on the reel saying Sample Text
    How do you get back into your text window?

    No, Sony Vegas is not free. It is under $80 at? Amazon. Sony does have a 30 day free trial you can download from the Sony web site.
