This is a new animated TV series created by the same staff as Black Jack. While each episode of the previous series was conclusive, in this renewed series the story continues from episode to episode and some new characters are added. Black Jack, together with Pinoko, circles the globe in search of clues to reveal a plot by a mysterious group trying to kill him.
