www.vidmuze.com Want to download the raw footage to try tracking yourself? http Mike shows how to use Boujou 5 to create a 3d motion track. Then after pulling the tracker information into Cinema 4D, he creates a realistic 3d environment that composites perfectly into 2d video footage.

Hey, nice and clean tutorial, but I have one problem. I`ve followed all of your steps, but in Cinema 4D, the objects are not held in place, and the floor does not track, and it starts to wiggle.. I have the latest version of Cinema 4D, and so for Boujou, and I had all the settings for 24? fps both in Boujou and in AE, I also exported a 24 fps version of the clip from AE and used it in Cinema, as you said. I can´t figure out what went wrong..

Very good tutorial. Thanks? and i do appreciate this.I do however wish you used a live action of a person shot on green screen for this composition. There really isn’t much tutorial on that on youtube.Much of the tutorials i see are always about placing text after matchmoving……don’t know why placing text in 3D space is so important.

Nice tut. Just one little note. You shouldn’t be using a sequence for lighting…if you don’t have the time for? setting up a proper HDRI, you could just use the first image in you sequence. That would have stopped the colors and lighting from changing.

Hi, can you help me please. I’ve managed to get to around 2.55mins but when i copy the background to the floor, my floor shows the still background image rather than staying black like yours. It doesn’t move with the camera when I scrub through either. What? am i doing wrong?

How do you get yours to be exact? Everytime I track it, I select scene geometry, (and I select what? I think are the good points.) but the plane gets tilted in C4D…
