Cross that about calling it boring. More on the lines of calling it sh** or ” this person should never make another animation again.” people like that haven’t really looked at themself. Maybe their thinking that they can do better than this person. But it take dedication and time with patience and a good heart to make an animation like this. its really a good start for someone thats new. I really like this video. Even though it needs work on it, the person who made this took a lon time to make this. Its not nice to tell someone who made an animation like this that there video is boring. He seemed to came up with a simple theme. People who dislike this video shouldn’t really be commenting. why would they even want to this video if they think that their not going to like it. The creaotors of shreck, ect. may have started out as this young fellow right here. ( or grown up).

Pixar is hiring animators right now. Go to their site and offer this as your reel. You never know. My friend did a video with a one eyed alien singing I WILL SURVIVE and they saw it… He did the animation of Mike Wyzowski on Monsters, Inc.

@iiNaRcOtIkZz it’ll onley take a month for a big budget team. but a small group it’s alot harder. people come and go or never have time. money is a issue then you have to stop everytime the computer breaks down or you need new updates…it’s a pain. I love animation but if I dont have a big team I’m sticking with comic books for now

People forget a lot of things when they say “this or that animation took x months” that is
1.experience
2.money/staff
3.experience
4.equipment
5.experience
yes, experience can make something which would take your average art school passers several years to just a few months maybe even weeks. Let’s take your typical anime studio for example. They are so used to what they are doing, they can(with several teams of course) do one episode EACH WEEK. Some anime do it in even very high quality

@mycollegeshirt Why don’t they just make a program that changes the mouth on the character accordingly to what sound is made? Then you just perfect it later ^^

@StandNaruto Well, it depends on what specific serie/movie are you talking about. Miyazaki’s movies are all made only with drawings (old school ftw!). (no idea but it must be about…what? 15 frames for second?). There are some animes wich are done using CGI. But mostly, in what matter the images, i believe the computer is used only in minor things, like colour edition.

@vjfky yes dialogues is pre, but they also do AVR which is basically dubbing the “Argh, Uffff” like sounds.and that is post production

Yeah, I used to like animating, only 2D in Flash. Then it got tiresome REAL quick. I just can’t produce anything longer than a minute, so I gave AS2 a go. Now I’ve got AS2 (Should really learn AS3) HTML CSS JavaScript under my belt, learning PHP, and can work on any of those codes for many many hours…
