This is great! wow! I’d really like to know what your work flow is like. Like what kind of tools did you use in flash/after effects , etc. Please expand !
How do you do the swirls, like the purple one on the right @ 0:16? I assume it’s a mask and a motion tween? If so, how do you keep it precise so that it does not prematurely reveal parts of the layer that you don’t want to show right away?
A great title. Could you please explain how you make the red strip look like it is moving down further than the screen limit. It’s a great effect, a tutorial would be so helpful.
this titles amazing man, is there a tutorial anywere for a title like this im really trying to learn how to use after effects and illustrator to the fullest thanks so much
Pretty simple – I just looped a faded white layer flashing about 20 frames per second (so it’s visible, but not overwhelming).
Good luck on your next project!
awesome video, one of my favorites. quick question: how did you get that background flicker go? I know how to make the gradient to give it that shaded look, but I really like the flicker effect you got going.
anyways, awesome job…i hope to be able to make something this good on my next project (I just started learning AE).
it took about a week to put together. if you know after effects and illustrator, you could put something like this together. the toughest part is getting music to sync. good luck!

I made the background flicker as a loop in Final Cut Pro then brought it into AE. I’m sure you can just do it in AE.

Very nice. Great movement on the elements as they come to rest and wobble in to position. Love the 60’s stylings too.
