Super Constellations – Mandelbulb 3D fractal animation
18Sep
A 3D animation rendered in September 2012 by Arthur Stammet with Mandelbulb 3D from http://www.fractalforums.com and programmed by Jesse. Music by Arthur Sta…
I’m happy to find someone appreciating the picturesque aspect of this fractal. I fact, I looked for (and found) ornaments which are repeated and geometric like those, which may be seen in Arabic art. Animating and morphing them has been a pleasure…?
The rendering job took just some hours: approximatively 468 hours (=19.5 days) for 19401 Pictures in Full HD.
I made it with my Desktop PC (Intel? Core i7 X980 3.33GHz, 24 GB Ram with Windows 7) and MAC (PowerBook Pro 17 Intel Core i7 2.2 GHz, 8 GB Ram with OSX Lion). That’s a little bit slower than real time 😉
