This video animation explains the concept of applications that are dedicated to run on top of the Enron Intelligent Network that was designed to enable specific approved applications to run with high Quality of Service but only pay for what you use. This was a new concept in 1999 when EBS started to offer these services using a dedicated fiber optic backbone, with IP routers, with Applications running on both Sun Servers using the Unix OS and Compaq servers using the Microsoft OS called Windows.
