I don’t GET PAID to know and it’s not my JOB to know how to do it better. However it IS NASA’s or whichever space org is in charge of Mars flights to know how to DO IT BETTER.

So what happened to the bottom? shell/heat shield? Where’s the top shell and parachute? Where did the rocket-scaffolding thing shoot off to? Are scientists saying all of this junk and garbage we’ve already started littering Mars with is just going to magically disappear?

Any original footage would have been shot from curiosity’s point of view. Meaning you would see mars itself but not what was happening? behind the camera.
