This tutorial deals with the text made inside Ae as “text layers”. I’m not sure why that should ever work? with ai footage. Can you perhaps explain what you’re attempting a bit more?

Well there are some text layers and some video layers. After effects has many layers. Just put them one on top of? the other and there they are.

Po put the person in the video over the layer? Not sure what I’m missing here. You will have? to cut out the person. So the layers will be background, text, person on their own layer. Makes sense?

why not use a track matte? I’m not sure what the separate layers will solve. What have you tried and what happened when you? tried it?

hello! i am trying to have a text image )a text i made in photoshop that i made? in alpha) and i am trying to get a person from a video in which i will have the text, but i want a person from the video to OVERLAP the text layer… not sure i’m explaining this correctly.. i you get what i mean, help would be appreciated.

i have a masked phrase appearing from behind a line. The phrase? is ‘our history in pictures’
Do i need to have a layer for each word to appear separately from behind the line if they are masked?
If i dont need separate layers how would i do it?

Okay. What have you tried and what happened when you tried it? What are you doing with that text? What boxes are checked on the text layer? What’s going on in the scene? Is it a vector? font or a strange bitmap font? Is it actually pixelated or is it showing poor anti aliasing?
