That probably means? that your graphics card and/or graphics driver version doesn’t support the functionality that Vegas needs to use GPU acceleration.
Check out your card model and driver versions and compare to the list of supported cards on the Sony Creative Software website.

Yeah, but if you have a processor with hyperthreading (P4, i3,5,i7), then you multiply your number of coores? by 2, thanks to the hyperthreading technology.

You should get a psu with a higher wattage. 750+.
Make sure the mobo is lga 1155. (preferably Z68, but those? can be expensive)

On which setting? If it’s the maximum number of threads, then he (Zebo) was wrong, because that specifies processor core virtualization, not the amount of memory (ram). What processor? do you have?

Just a tip:? The number of render threads setting is nothing to do with how much RAM you have. It’s about how many threads you want to fire up on the CPU and so would depend on how many cores and hyperthreading etc.
