You’re a lot of help man. Thanks a bunch. It’s no big deal, but just wanted? to let you know your verbal direction to Play the selected in/out and the text that showed up on the screen didn’t sync the last couple times. You said to play, but the text showed how to duplicate. Like I said, it was no biggie, but thought you’d like to know. Thanks again

That’s the point of using the blink filter. To mimic that effect. If you want it to blink faster just change? the parameters

I practice doing the effect before hand so that I would know? how it turns out. Are you having problems with your clips in FCP 7?

Does it have .mov at the end? Also, you need to convert it to Pro Res if it is from different codec/format. FCP only likes to work with formats its familiar with. Use MPEG Streamclip. It’s a free program? to download. Once you do that, you won’t see the red bar as much.

Are you using video that FCP doesn’t support? Do you get a red bar every time you edit it? Also, which effect? are you trying to do?

@MrKRDizzle That’s virtually impossible. You can change ur render tab to unlimited rt which will give u an orange line. If you editing mp4 or h.264 then you will see it all? the time. Message me ur situation so I can help u better
