Hey makers of Cloverfield. This is how to make a real monster movie! Not
one that pretends to be shot from a stupid kid’s camera, mobile phone or
whatever. You actually might learn something. That goes for all of you in
the found footage genre. It doesn’t work anymore. Imagine how horrible it
would be if Godzilla was done in the found footage style. Lol.?

The godzilla is too chubby. And then the focus of the story is more on
humans. Whats the point of giving the title godzilla when most of the time
we only see human bitching.?

I always knew the Tauntauns were stop motion. In some scenes it was kinda
obvious, but the fact that the walkers were blew my mind. I guess since
they moved slower it was easier to pull off. Nothing will every touch 4-6.
Nothing. ?

CGI is a great tool. But, it is over used! Back in the day, you saw a
movie and wondered how did they do that? Now there is not as much mystery.
Used to love watching behind the scenes special effects docs about Star
Wars, Indiana Jones, etc., now, its kind of moot. Its someone at a
computer working with software, and green screen actors. I like that some
directors are insisting on practical effects and miniatures again. If we
marriage the old and the new, I think it will be much better. We have a
decade or two of films that are half live action and half fancy cartoons.
Don’t think that is the greatest legacy for Hollywood.?

This is incredible and is part of the true legacy of Star Wars, not just
the movie itself but the making of it is a wonderful and interesting story.
We can only hope that all of the amazing work that the people shown here
have done will not be lost. This is a piece of history.?

I actually hate the today’s cinema style. Shooting on Film is out as well
as practical FX, there’s nothing but Michael Bay crap, sequels and remakes
with screenplays written by probably 12 year old people. F*ck CGI. I’d
rather watch series now. Hollywood is dead or asleep. Dunno.?
