thats what i was wondering about, i have a 2007 350Z has? dual throttle body so i was wondering if i could twin it? or would it be better off just buying gtm supercharger kit or GTM TT kit for 7k

i’m also enjoying studying these parts especially for the fact that it helps? a car lower it’s consumption and also it’s enviromental impact…plus superchargers are much easier to make than oxygen concentrating vpsa systems and i intend to make at least one for my car this summer

Thanks for the awnser mate! I work on a salvage boat and one of the turbochargers for the engine is bigger than my head. It throws off a lot of heat, you? definately don’t want to touch it. I love working on those big engines. I wonder how much the ambient air temperature would drop if they used centrifugal superchargers instead of turbochargers. Anyway, thanks for reply, I appreciate it.

well….yes…a minimal heat? is generated from the friction of the air with the inner walls of the supercharger(or whatever the inside is called), plus the compression generated…still, it isn’t as the heat taken from the engine

I think they do generate some heat just? through compression of the air. However I think its minimal compared to turbochargers and roots type superchargers.

In classes? were centrifugals are allowed (aren’t outlawed), centrifugals win far more races than roots or screw blowers in head-to-head competition.

by what i know of these 3 types the centrifugal supercharger is the most convenient one in drag? races but correct me if i’m wrong

well…technically speaking no, because if you heard what the presenter said it doesn’t have a need to be positioned in places where it can absorb the heat from the engine and it doesn’t create heat itself therefore heating? if these components isn’t something to worry about

if i missed something please correct my post in a reply to it

Root super chargers channel? air around the 2 rotors, while the twin turbine pushes the air in between the 2 rotors.

Nice. I can pause this? video and use it if I ever have to take mine apart! Chances are that won’t happen! LOL!

Yes, ProCharger is a brand of centrifugal supercharger. The other type of supercharger is positive displacement. Centrifugal superchargers are more efficient than positive? displacement superchargers.

Turbochargers are actually exhaust driven superchargers. Turbochargers are a subset of superchargers, and technically the full name? for a turbocharger is “turbosupercharger”.

Only the centrifugal type superchargers are, it’s basically a belt-driven turbo essentially. ?

So a supercharger is? a turbocharger without the turbine section
