If girls spend enough time together their menstrual cycles will sync. If humanity communicates enough our views will find common ground. Communication dissolves extreme polar views. Our 7,000,000,000 opinions are chaos. The internet speeds our determination of our strange? attractor. I vote ‘LOVE>FEAR’

The only thing that’s really bugging me are “revolution!” next to “democracy!”
We already tried that. Swapping out new rulers in the same system is asinine. Otherwise, I see what he’s saying here; it’s more of an observation, and one I believe we’re all aware of: people use the Internet for? many different things. We’re not going to change the world overnight with the Internet. But holy shit, is the Internet helping! Best anarchist social experiment ever.

Well said. Technology is a medium and information is not necessarily equated to thought – its? what you bring to the table in terms of research skills and creative searching that allows you to get value out of the internet. Education and reading have to be primary drivers here, and people wont read outside their comfort zone unless they have a reason to do so.

Status Quo supporter? First of all, I don’t let the notion of whether or not my decisions coincide with the status quo dictate how I form my own personal opinions. The fact that you must cite the status quo as something to avoid supporting just shows how much you conform to a certain set of preferences yourself without maintaining an impartial assessment of whether that preference is desirable or not.
Didn’t know that everyone who smokes cannabis is supposed to be “mellow”. You stereotype? boy.

Oh, so cannabis makes you SO chill that you tell someone who doesn’t want to take it to “go to hell”. Why is that? Could it be that you’re too? much of a typical status-quo-supporting coward to sustain a choice of your own preference in the face of any dissent? You’re pathetic.

There are people who will misunderstand this video as there is people who will misuse the internet, until we humans figure out how to archive complexity beyond our narrow mindset, we will have to live with misunderstanding and misusage of ideas,? knowledge and people. Until then my dragon dildos will continue to hang from the ceiling.

Weed smoking is like the internet, which is like anything. Pros and cons. It can be a tool for liberation of the mind or a trap. I work in with low income children in Hawaii and man they love to smoke weed, and so do I. But when they smoke weed I doubt they read books, and imagine the limitless? possibilities life has…Then again I don’t know what it’s like for them to be high. I do know that they continue to make terrible life decisions whether or not they smoke weed.

I agree with some point, for example if you had million people blogging/ signing an online petition protesting over a certain issue, it does simply does not have the same impact as a million people marching/protesting in the street because it is easier to ignore/ censor an online protest than a physical one. Plus the internet method seems? to lack a certain sincerity and passion needed to truly drive change because people can easily hide behind online identies/ hide behind a screen.

anyone else think its a little ironic that this video is an example of why this guys? point is not valid. The amount of discussion and information available to us today is just incredible. I think his argument is jumping far to much on democratic values as a result of the internet. That seems like an absurd claim to me. I want people to learn and be engaged with other people and the internet allows us to do that on a global scale. Democracy isnt perfect lets try some innovation.
