Hello Doctor, does the mitral annulus contract/expand during either systole or diastole? Or is it rigid? And where can I find information about this?
Thank? you,
Alex

most MVPs are mild, and require little worry or attention? throughout a lifetime. Hopefully you will be in that category…

Oh, it helped a ton. I’ve watched every single one of your videos. Most medical students like myself just memorize buzzwords and phrases without really understanding what’s really happening in the body. Our teachers put up still power points with no logical progression of pathophys. The whole medical education system is a disaster because no “education” is happening, just? memorization and regurgitation. Your videos bring much needed clarity and simplicity.
