From age 8 to 17 i swam competitively year round. I’m talking 3 practices a day Monday through Friday including a 2 hour dry land? workout and Saturday morning swims. We use to do serious aerobic sets where they would tap us out to measure our pulse to make sure we were working hard enough (otherwise they’d make the sets faster). Sometimes I’d throw up in the gutter (which was about 3 feet deep around the pool) and my coach would yell at me for stopping at all.

I hate vomiting so much. I have? had two pregnancies with no morning sickness and I think the only reason for that is because my mind is so averse to vomiting it won’t make my body do it.
