What was the point of this trailer?? Nothing was filmed. It was all animated and it doesn’t show us what is acutally happening within the film. The whole point? of this trailer was simply to tell us that the secrets will finally be answered. Mmk thanks! Now give us an actual trailer dickheads.

I loved this film. The theories? are bonkers. It’s like being in the pub with bonkers people. And it made me fall very heavily in love with The Shining all over again.

I’m a huge Kubrick fan, and I love The? Shining- but this trailer gives no insight into what the actual film is concerned with. Is it a clinical Film History approach? Recently discovered Kubrick notes? A hageiography (ie; just praising Kubric)? Or is the musings of a poor Grad student working at Starbucks?? I’ll see it anyways, but damn :/

The movie was released in May of 1980.? It’s highly unlikely that Kubrick directed the film in the few months preceding.

Just a tip–trailers are supposed to make you want to see the film, not turn you off. This? is supposed to be a good documentary but you’d never know it from this mess.
