  1. There is no doubt that Zbrush is the most powerful sculpting software. But many people hardly use all the features of Zbrush. For example, I have never used all the brushes, sahdowbox, etc. I think that the sculpting of c4d will be enough? to achieve almost any desirable result.

  3. I have nothing against smoking crack (Maya or 3D Max). I’m glad it showed me? a new light in C4D, or otherwise I would get stuck in my project in other 3D apps.

  8. I’ve tried 3D Max 2011, but Blender is better. Maya 2010, tried it, old code just like Adobe Premier Pro or Premeir CS6. It took 10 minutes of exact the same scene and computer? spec in Cinema 4d r13, 40 minutes 3D Max and 130 minutes in Maya. I don’t have the time in today business. Cinema is for me for now. I’m using c4d studio version. I’M WAITING FOR CINEMA 4D NATIVE FLUID SIMULATION. Plzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

  10. No doubt Zbrush is a powerfull software, my beef with it is that it has the most user unfriendly interface I ever seen. Almost like…designed by aliens.? For example, even the simple menu item common in all software: Help>About Zbrush, is not there or done differently

    Cinema 4D I think has the best user interface on the market. Their tree like structure for mesh modifiers for example, is simply unbeatable and I trust it will be the same for their new sculpting module.

  11. The sculpting features are a? welcome addition, but nobody should seriously expect it to be Zbrush inside of Cinema 4D — Zbrush is the most powerful sculpting program there is. But the great features in R14 are worth the upgrade if you’re looking for a decent software for a cheap price and with great features.

  13. You can become a student? at any age. The fact you aren’t aware of that staggers me actually. You believe that the only way an adult can still be a student is to have been a student all their lives, never leaving school? You should know that millions of adults go back to schools, colleges, universities and do courses online every year and they are all ages.

  14. So you are old enough to know C4D? V1 and you are still a student..?

    Well anyway, I have to disagree with your “software gets more and more expensive”. The opposite is the case.
    C4D, but also 3D apps like Maya, etc are WAY cheaper than 10 years ago. The prices of pretty much all 3D and 2D comp apps dropped dramatically.

    What you will do after being a student? Charge some money for your work and you will be able to afford C4D. Or switch to something cheaper.
