Gerald Scarfe and his staff team of animators took what would have otherwise been a really, really horrible movie that would have found it’s way into everyone’s garbage can and made it awesome giving some of the best animation that both you and your grandma has ever seen and you both know it. If only the project were left in the hands of Gerald Scarfe in it’s entirety, we might have had the best animated movie ever created ranking among some of the best films ever made, if not just the best.

it’s actually first time in the movie he takes the blame upon himself for his wife’s adultery. he previously only felt betrayed by her. The motherly portion is in accordance to the abscence of his father making his mother overbearing, and his own longing for home as a result of her overbearence, as seen when he was neglecting his wife. otherwise take into account it is entirely from his point of view, 4 more info check out thewallanalysis(dot)com
