This small animation features scenes (and characters!) that did not appear in the live-action film. I obviously did not create this, I simply uploaded this.   8. @fierblaze meh, not how I imagined scott to sound. The voice doesn’t fit his character. It was better in the movie because Cera’s character fit the voice.

  10. Just read the books and I’m loving this. Looks like they’ve pretty much just used the book as a storyboard and animated it. Still not sure if I want to see the movie though (mainly because of Michael Cera).

  11. @ksdarkwolfv1 i know about how she tells him the fight with the guy never truly happened, and that he didnt actually tell her he was leaving, making her pissed. but that dosnt answer my question.

  16. @mentalguy316 Read the book. In the book he went to highschool in montreal and then moved to Toronto. Kim moved later and just happened to meet him there. Also, in the book, Scott is actually a complete douche, and remembers everything the way he thinks of it. In the book, he absorbed nega scott and remembered everything the way it actually was. So that’s why there are plot holes really… this is from the book and what you are talking about is the movie adaption.

  20. @DrakeBrunette Yeah fair enough. Way I see it is that people should be willing to give most films that aren’t directed by Uwe Boll a chance before they slate them. Would’ve been nice if more people gave Scott Pilgrim the shot it deserved before slagging it off. I also like how you use the Expenadbles as an example, that film was god awful and I’m a pretty big 80’s action movie nut. But getting back to Pilgrim, Edgar Wright is my favourite (active) director, and everything he touches is cool. :p

  22. @CidHighwindRocks Oh no I agree with you 100% on the Micheal Cera part! He definitely didn’t overplay the awkward teen so much this time around. Plus, I wasn’t calling ALL people who don’t give it a chance brain dead idiots. Just A LOT of them are, like I said. I’d call hundreds to thousands of people across America “a lot” wouldn’t you say? 😛

  23. @DrakeBrunette I wouldn’t call myself a brain dead idiot but what originally deterred me from the movie was Michael Cera, I’ve never taken a liking to him and every other character he’s played has been the nice guy/Mary Sue. I was glad to see him playing a douche for once and yeah, I’m glad I gave the film a chance. Good thing is I convinced others to go see it.
