I watched him plummet into the unknown. That world below. The tear that flowed from his eye moved slower than did he. I don’t like how people don’t want to accept that he died. That’s the point of his sacrifice. He was willing and accepting of the end for his cause, his final farewell.
He’s a kind of cartoon martyr, although it’s only for his own behalf.
Letting him live in the end would be ruining the message.
