because people tend to think that somethings that they think arent important are a waste of their time. the same with things that could be finished quickly but for some reason takes so much time than they expected.? as for the elderly its because people dont want to be constantly bothered by someone who can ‘take care of themselves’ and wish that the annoyance would go away.

This made? me smile, he feels like he has gotten so old now he can’t function like he used to anymore. But after he managed to get the light working again, with his main hand that had being failing him more, after his left hand failed to do so he realises he is still capable. It just takes more time.
