The USA has still forced more CO2 into the air total over all history than any other nation. So, it’s only fair that the USA reduce a lot less. Many Americans already have done that, but it is unfair for a minority of Americans to sacrifice ten times more of their? lifestyle than they would if the remaining majority of Americans would pull their weight.

ONCE AGAIN. Climate Change wont destroy the world, it will not be a sudden cataclysmic event set once we reach a certain point. It will also not destroy the planet. The planet is fine. But it will be extremely difficult for us. It will change climate patterns, randomize weather, make life difficult for us, much more than for anything else. Life has lived through far worse situation. But us, on the other hand, we don’t know? how it will affect our ways of life.

A message to the doubters: In many ways, the climate debate is a moot point – whether or not you believe in it, you can’t deny that a civilisation reliant on oil and gas is? unsustainable. If we convert to renewable energy, we not only safeguard our future but have the added bonus of preventing climate change, whether or not you believe in it. Why doesn’t anyone else ever see this?
