Marek Okon is a graduate of both the YSDN program and also the Graphic Communication program at the SCHOOLOFDESIGN at George Brown College. During his studies throughout YSDN Okon has worked for both local and international studios as a freelance motion and print designer. Okon’s work has also been featured in Stashmedia Magazine (Vol. 34, Jul 2007), Design Elements (2007) published by Rockport, Almanac of Asia-Pacific Design II (2006) published by Sandu Cultural Media in China, as well Machine Flesh (2005) published by Ballistic Publishing in Australia. Okon has also been invited to speak along with fellow alumni Edrea Lita at Plus, an International conference on innovative Typography held annually in Birmingham, England.
